Earlier this month, Moore gave an update on the "Pulp Fiction" actor's health and how he's been dealing with his battle with dementia when she appeared in an interview with CNN.

The 62-year-old actress explained that Bruce is "in a very stable place," but it wasn't easy watching him struggle.

"Given the facts, he's in a very stable place right now," she said. "I've shared this before, but I really mean it so sincerely. It's so important for anyone dealing with this to really meet them where they are, and from that place there's such love and joy."

Moore noted that seeing a loved one struggling with the condition is "very difficult" and "not something I would wish on anyone."

"There is great loss, but there is also great beauty and gifts that can come from it," she added.

Bruce's wife Emma said in an interview with Town & Country Magazine that she had to advocate for a rare condition because there is currently no known cure or treatment.

She also discussed his influence on their young daughters and revealed that she does not hide anything about it from them.

Responding to how she's coping, Emma said: "I'm a lot better today than I was when we were first diagnosed with FTD."

"I'm not saying it's easier, but I've had to get used to what's going on in order to be grounded in what is so that I can support our children," she continued. "I'm trying to find a balance between the sadness and grief I feel, which can open up at any moment, and finding joy."

When asked about the impact on their daughters, she said the disease was "misdiagnosed, missed, misunderstood, so finally getting a diagnosis was crucial for me to learn what frontotemporal dementia was and to be able to educate our children."

She added: "I've never tried to sugarcoat anything for them. They grew up with Bruce refusing for years. I'm not trying to protect them from that."
