The singer was reportedly "shocked" and "delighted" by the NFL star's thoughtful gesture to celebrate his record-breaking Eras Tour.

Looking to the future after her world tour, Taylor Swift is reportedly planning to take a break from the spotlight to focus on her relationship with Travis Kelce as they both fall more and more in love.

Swift was surprised by what her boyfriend Kelce performed in her honor. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end held a surprise Eras Tour party to celebrate the end of her chart-topping global tour.

Apparently, she thought they were just going for an intimate dinner, but she was shocked when she was greeted by guests who were waiting to celebrate her.

the source said Page Six that she was "delighted" that Kelce "made an effort" to do it for her and that she really liked it.

"Taylor couldn't have been more shocked to see everyone standing there," the insider said. "It was the last thing she expected and she couldn't believe that Travis had gone out of his way to throw her a surprise party."

"She thought it was such a thoughtful gesture and such a sweet gesture. It really meant a lot to her," the insider added.

To put the event together, Kelce made sure to leave no stone unturned because it was "something he knew he wanted to do" for Swift and had been planning it "for a while."

A source who spoke to the news outlet noted that Kelce "wanted Taylor to throw a surprise party because he felt she deserved a big celebration after all the hard work she's put in." Kelce is "so proud of her" and "grateful that he was able to pull it off without a hitch," the insider said.

According to Daily MailThe Super Bowl champion had some outside help pulling it all together as it turns out he hired party planner Amanda Carlo for the job.

Pictures from the event have since flooded social media, with Kelce's friend sharing photos of himself with the football star and the mystery blonde.

"Ma'am do it Amanda Carlo," wrote Harry Clarke, a close friend of Kelsey's, along with a sunglasses emoji, tagging Carlo herself on Instagram. "Thank you for organizing an amazing event."

The party was also attended by some of Swift's close friends and collaborators, including Ashley Avignone and Brittany Mahomes, the latter of whom dressed as "Tayvis" (Taylor & Travis) with her husband Patrick Mahomes.

Now that her tour is over, Swift wants to take some much needed rest and focus on her romance with Kelce.

The "Bad Blood" singer has been on the road for almost 2 years, starting a tour in March 2023. She wrapped up her most recent tour on December 8th in Vancouver, British Columbia, after which she seems to be taking it easy.

"Taylor is exhausted," the source said US Weekly. "She's excited for a little relaxation and rest."

Swift reportedly plans to stay in Kansas City with Kelce. She wants to strengthen their romance after their busy tour schedules have left them spending little time together.

"Taylor plans to stay and hibernate (with Travis) for a while," the insider said.

"They want to do 'normal things' as a couple," another source added. "Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because (that's when) little nuances about someone's personality and habits come into play. They're going to learn so much about each other."

The football player praised Swift's Eras Tour on an episode of Kelce's "New Heights" podcast.

"Shout out to Tay, and the amazing Eras Tour has finally come to an end," Kelce said, according to Daily Mail.

His brother and podcast co-host, Jason, then asked, "So, how much was that?" Kelce responded, "I think it's been almost two years. March of the year we played in Super Bowl 149. That's crazy."

He added: "Over 10 million people in the stands during that, it's pretty crazy."

Kelce also acknowledged the enormous effort behind the scenes: "Sending off to everyone who was a part of that show. Obviously, it's her music, it's her tour, but it was a total production, man, that thing."

"It was the best tour in the world because of many people. But most of all because of Taylor!" the football player remarked.

Although the 35-year-old singer wants to take some time off, sources say the singer is already thinking about her next album and a potential tour amid reports that she and Kelce could be moving forward with their relationship very soon.

"A lot depends on what happens over the next year with Travis," another source said US Weekly. "She told her team to give her a year to see how things go in her personal life."

The couple are also open to cementing their romance, with an insider saying they "love to be engaged" but "are in no rush."

"Taylor feels like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style," the insider said. "She just doesn't do (things). Marriage is a big deal, and she wants (it to be) forever."
