'Mormon Wives' Taylor Frankie Paul 'surprised' to be on this list

It's only been a few months since "The Secret Lives of Mormon Women" debuted on Hulu, but the show and stars quickly gained a huge following both online and offline.

The eight-episode first season immediately won over audiences begging for more episodes, so it's no surprise that season two is currently filming and will be released in spring 2025. Fans follow the show's stars on social media to keep up with all the drama. which surrounds a group of Mormon moms from Utah.

While Paul may seem comfortable in the spotlight and loving all the attention she's been getting since "The Secret Lives of Mormon Women" took over millions of TVs in September, she's still getting used to this new life she's living.

"Sometimes I feel at a loss for words. I just didn't expect the show to be this good," she said recently PEOPLE. "I also didn't expect another season and for it to be approved so quickly. Obviously I'm so happy and grateful, but it's so surprising. You never know."

The MomTok leader shared that she remembers thinking early on that the show would "do well."

"I remember thinking, 'This is going to be OK. It should do well, considering we all have a story that people haven't heard about, and we all have a following,'" she said. "I didn't know how well it was going to go, so it was shocking how it happened."

When Paul's team sent her word that her name appeared on the recently released list, she shared the text in Instagram The story. List - Diversity's "The 30 Most Powerful Women in Reality TV 2024."

On her Instagram Story, Paul shared her thoughts on making the list, saying, "I feel so grateful and surprised."

Underneath Paul's picture on Variety's list, the description reads: "These chaotic Utah momfluencers—who knew what joy they could bring us? The central confusion was Paul, who was arrested for domestic violence in an incident with her boyfriend, then spent the rest of season pregnant with his baby."

Other powerhouse reality stars who made the list include Rita Ora, Ariana Madix, Marissa George, Julia Fox, Lisa Barlow and many more.

The MomTok star shares her life on social media

Whether it's good news, real and raw emotion, or anything in between, Paul shares it all with his followers on social media.

In a recently shared TikTok In the video, Paul is seen dancing around with the caption: "Did anyone else think 2024 was their year and then ended up with--?" She captioned the post: "I'll give nothing but damn."

Many of her loyal followers took to the comments section to share their support and share a little about what's going on in their lives.

"Worst year of my life so far," one person wrote, to which Paul replied: "Sammme." Another person shared, "I felt this in my heart."

Taylor Frankie Paul has been dealing with a lot of drama lately

Paul is sharing all the drama going on in her life on social media as there are still no new episodes of the hit reality show.

After sharing her experience as a host at the recent CMAs, Paul realized that none of her fellow MomTok moms were commenting on her posts so she publicly called them out. Not long after that drama, another question arose for Paul when one of the women involved in her silent swing controversy from years ago, Kenna Gibbons, decided to share her side of the story in a multi-part TikTok series. Many of the details she gave were not as Paul remembered them, so there was drama to be seen back and forth.

In a TikTok video, Paul shared that she was "exhausted" from all the back-and-forth in hopes of ending the drama.

"I'm fighting two different battles at once and I'm literally exhausted," she began her TikTok video. "You know who came with multiple accounts. That's the last thing I'm saying. If anything else comes out, I don't care. You can assume what you want."

Fans won't have to wait long for new episodes of the hit reality show. They are currently filming a second season and plan to release new episodes on Hulu in the spring of 2025.

Meanwhile, fans missing all the MomTok drama can find some on the girls' TikTok and Instagram pages.

Season 1 of "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" is currently streaming on Hulu and will be part of ABC's winter programming lineup on Monday nights at 10:00 PM ET beginning January 27th.
