The singer-songwriter, 24, posted on social media that he would no longer be joining the country star Kelsey Ballerini On his upcoming tour. This is Ballerini's first arena tour.

A text post has been shared via Instagram and X. "After giving it much thought, I've made the difficult decision to step back for now and focus on taking care of myself."
Peters continued his heartfelt message to fans, writing that his decision to leave the tour was a difficult one.
"I love playing shows and being with you all, so it wasn't an easy call: but I needed some time to recharge, spend more time with my family and make sure the album is what I want it to be," he continued, adding said, "Most importantly, I need to feel like the best version of myself when I get on stage in front of you all."
He ended his statement by apologizing for the change of plans with an acknowledgment to his fans.
"Thank you all for your incredible support," she wrote. “I am sorry for those who are disappointed and I hope you understand. I'll be cheering Kelsey on from the sidelines — she's going to put on the most amazing show and I'm so excited for her. I love you all."
Back in October, Peters wrote on social media that he was excited to open for Ballerini, citing him as an early influence.
"The secret is out, I'm going on tour with MS Kelsey Ballerini next year," he wrote via Facebook at the time. "Kelsey has been one of my favorite artists since I was a child songwriter, I love me like my iPod touch, and the welcome map was rolling up and inspiring me every time I listen to it."
The English singer had previously opened up Taylor Swift During her Eras tour, during a tour stop in London on August 19.
Ballerini's tour will make stops in 30 cities across the United States and kick off in Grand Rapids, Michigan on January 21, 2025. He will be touring to promote his latest album, the title patterns.
