For Leavitt, who was labeled by many fans as the villain of the first season, she found filming the show to be "a little bit like therapy" as she dealt with a personal issue.

Being recognized by fans while out and about was something the cast had to learn to get used to quickly.

“I’m still adjusting because it happened so fast, but I love it when people come up and say hello and ask for a picture,” Leavitt told PEOPLE. "I had one kid, a college student had me sign his BYU ID and it was probably the best thing ever. I was like, 'Oh, yeah, sure. I'll sign your BYU ID.'"

"It was something we all wanted to do and we're so grateful for how big it actually got and how big I know it's only going to get bigger from here. That was my biggest surprise, a thousand percent."

If fans missed the show after the first season binge, all they have to do is check out the girls' social media pages. That seems to be where the drama lives while they are busy filming the second season.

Not long after that drama broke out, one of the women involved in Paul's silent swing controversy decided to share her side of the story in a multi-part TikTok series, leading to more drama.

And then there were some online accusations and heated words between Paul and colleague Demi Engemann that lasted for days.

So, if you're hooked on the show and can't wait for new episodes, be sure to check out MomTok on their TikTok and Instagram pages.

The first season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is currently streaming on Hulu. The second season will be released in the spring of 2025.
