Jay-Zhis supposed son, Rymir Satterthwaiterevealed why he believes the rapper avoided taking a paternity test to resolve their long-running dispute over his parentage.

The 31-year-old first went to court over the issue in 2010 and has since filed multiple lawsuits against the Roc Nation founder, including a recent lawsuit accusing the court system of fraud and violation of paternity rights.

Now Rymir Satterthwaite has shared in a new interview that he believes the rapper refused to take a paternity test all this time because his mother was only 16 when they allegedly had a relationship.

Talking to US SunSatterthwaite, along with his godmother Dr. Lillie Coley, revealed that before filing the lawsuit against Jay-Z, they initially tried to resolve the paternity issue by requesting a paternity test "in private."

However, the rapper allegedly refused the request at the time, which is why they asked the court for help to compel him.

The duo have now offered a reason for Jay-Z's refusal, saying he was "afraid" that a paternity test would reveal that Satterthwaite's mother was a "minor" at the time of their alleged relationship.

"I have to say here - he's not doing this (paternity test) because of Rymir's mother's age ... because he (Jay-Z) had two problems: one, she was (16) and then she got pregnant," Coley said for publication.

Adding to Coley's remarks, Rymir stated that he believed Jay-Z had "some sort of thought in his mind" that there might be "some sort of truth" to the paternity claim.

He believes this caused the rapper to "kick it to the side" despite having the opportunity to "take care of" the problem.

During the interview, Coley discussed Jay-Z's ongoing rape lawsuit, which names the rapper as one of the alleged perpetrators accused of sexually assaulting a minor.

She claimed the allegations could mark a "day of reckoning" for Jay-Z's career and the music industry as a whole.

"And that's why you have to be careful how you treat people and what you do because I believe you reap what you sow," Coley said.

Coley also shared her belief that the latest allegations could "spill over" to their case because it "shows a larger narrative, a larger scope of what's going on, and that this goes deep and wide."

Elsewhere in the conversation, Satterthwaite expressed his frustration with how the paternity suit has dragged on all these years.

"You guys went and got away with this. You didn't give us a fair trial for years and years," the 31-year-old complained. "What was the reason? Can you explain? You caused us harm, you caused us this stress?"

Satterthwaite said he is not interested in Jay-Z's money or fame. He also expressed his willingness to have a relationship with Jay-Z if a paternity test proves their connection.

"If it was right, you know... We can grow and have a relationship if you want to. But if you don't, you know I'll still be the man that I am," he said.

Satterthwaite added: "I'm not really trying to chase you, not to get fame or money. I don't want anything from you. I've always said that."

The remarks by Satterthwaite and his godmother come after they launched a lawsuit against several individuals within the court system.

In the lawsuit, the duo accused the named individuals of obstructing their efforts to force Jay-Z to confirm his paternity, misrepresenting ownership of assets and allegedly allowing the Roc Nation founder to make false claims.

Elsewhere in the submission, they requested a "declaratory judgment" to establish that their constitutional rights had been violated. They also sought to unseal previously sealed court records relevant to the case for public inspection.

According to Daily Mailhave urged the court to award damages for "negligent infliction of emotional distress", claiming they have suffered "significant personal injury" as a result of the protracted legal battle.

In a statement for Daily MailSatterthwaite has condemned his alleged father's reaction to the rape allegations he is facing.

Satterthwaite said it was "both heartbreaking and frustrating" to see Jay-Z address the allegations with "spinning and lashing out."

He then entwined the situation with his long-standing effort to get the Roc Nation boss to agree to a paternity test.

Satterhwaite added: "My late mother, Wanda, was only 16 when she became pregnant with me, and for years I've been searching for clarity around my identity. This isn't about greed or spectacle - it's about getting the truth out and making sure all parties feel responsible."
