George Clooney opened up about his concerns for his seven-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, about their culture and lifestyle.
In the leaked footage, the doting dad expressed his fears that his children are becoming "too British", especially as they seem to have adopted more British slang than American.

George Clooney has shared his fears about his young twin's legacy in several unearthed clips.
The American actor, who shares twins Alexander and Ella with his British-Lebanese wife Amal, was particularly perplexed as to why they were becoming "too British".
The "Wolfs" actor made the statement in a 2020 clip of him talking to Stephen Colbert on his "Late Night Talk" show, revealing that he was trying to stop them from cultivating the British slang they picked up.
"Look, I already have a problem, which is that I'm trying desperately not to make them little Brits," Clooney revealed. Daily Mail. "It's not a sweater, it's a sweater. It's not a boot, it's a trunk. It's a sidewalk, it's a sidewalk."

"I did everything to change their version to speak with an English accent," he continued. "So they were writing their message to Santa, I said, 'Then we'll leave them cookies, and my son says, 'No, it's milk and mince pie'."

The actor revealed his special trick for getting his kids to behave
Elsewhere in his conversation with Colbert, Clooney revealed that he's perfected a way for his young children to behave when the holidays come around.
"I figured out a way to get them to behave. When they fall asleep in the morning and they start making noise...and you hear the two of them pushing or something, and I'm standing outside their door, and I'm like, 'Oh, hey, hi, Santa,'" he shared.
"And then you hear that Santa is there, and he goes, 'Ho ho ho!' And I say, 'What are you doing here, Santa?' and he's like, 'Oh, I just make sure the kids are good kids,'" Clooney admitted.

"And I say, 'I think so, Santa.' And you can hear them say, 'We're Santa Claus!'" Clooney added! "And then he goes and they go out, and they're incredibly well-behaved. It can work on your parents at certain ages, too, by the way."

George Clooney Feels His Kids Think He's 'Stupid'
Here's hoping Clooney has better luck this Christmas trying to get them to behave as he promises to be a multicultural holiday.
In a clip from 2023, Jimmy Kimmel could be seen telling the two-time Oscar winner how he ran into his wife Amal, who told him their children spoke French and Italian.
"I'm not a very smart person, and my wife speaks French and Italian," Clooney said. Daily Mailhe jokes that he "enjoys ignorance."
The 63-year-old actor and director said at the time that he thought his children thought he might be "stupid" for trying to fake certain things in languages they knew.
"I'll try to fake something in the wrong language and they'll just look at me like, 'You're an idiot,'" he explained.
The actor opened up about raising twins
Clooney and Amal have managed to keep their twins out of the spotlight, but he previously spoke about what it's like to raise them, saying they are already developing their personalities, Hello!
"Well, twins tell you a lot," he said during an appearance on "Good Morning America," before explaining, "When you have twins and you raise (them) at the same time, the same way, and they're completely different human beings, realize how little you say about who they are."
Clooney continued, "You try to set some boundaries for them and you try to give them things to believe in, but they're just different people."
"They come out with an opinion, and it's amazing to see how different the characters of my children are... They are raised by the same parents, you know," added the actor.

George Clooney wants to give his children a "normal upbringing"
In another interview with AARP Magazinehe explained that they try to give their children a "normal" upbringing, and that's why they didn't give them unusual names.
"They're going to have enough problems already. It's hard to be the son of someone famous and successful," he shared, adding that's why he "didn't want, like, weird names for our kids."
During the conversation with GQ Magazine this year, Clooney also discussed protecting his children's privacy to ensure their safety.
"I have a goal to try to protect, I don't want pictures of my kids," he said. "We're dealing with very serious subjects, with very serious bad guys, and we don't want to have photos of our kids out there."
Clooney added: "So we have to work hard at trying to stay private, and it's tricky, as you can imagine."
