Less than a week later Cardi B cooler heads seemed to prevail in her current position with her estranged husband Offsetrap star “Bodak Yellow” takes off his gloves again.

The Bronx native took to X on Wednesday to release some fiery posts in response to the Migos alum calling her out for seemingly focusing more on men than her music career.

After reminding him that he was living the single life, Cardi then pushed things further and demanded that he sign their divorce papers immediately.

Cardi B and Offset's latest relationship on X began with the “Blame It On Set” singer insinuating that his ex-wife was acting rough in public to make him look like the bad guy.

"Stop standing up for these (people) to look like (a) him," he wrote, before referring to her as a "fire (woman)" who "(plays) good music but (you) focus on d-ck .”

Citing Offset's post, Cardi shot back that she has every right to live her best single life.

“So dating because I'm single means I'm just worried about d—ck?” she asked. “You sound like a dork,” Cardi continued, “trying to be fake nice after doing what you wanted to do from the beginning.

She then accused Offset of having similar ulterior motives for his actions.

"(You're) trying to push a narrative on these people," she argued.

Cardi then closed her response with a firm request. “Fuck off and sign the papers TODAY.”

Cardi would go silent on the social media app after her divorce filing, but Offset was ready to lay out his terms right then and there for all to see.

“When (you) share custody, I will,” he replied, he reported And! News.

“(You) aren't worried (about) the music,” Offset surmised, “(you) are worried about the d–ck. Everyone can see it and all (you) talk about is (d-ck). Burned out in the clubs - no music, no nothing. Just drama.”

In one last blast, he alluded to missing Cardi B more than she let on, calling her "free and miserable."

"(Last 10 places, (you) mention me," he continued, noting Cardi's recent chats with fans via X Spaces. "Get hooked, mom."

Most of Cardi and Offset's posts were deleted soon after.

Today's clash between the hip-hop heavyweights is a stark contrast to how things stood between them last week.

On Dec. 14, Offset's 33rd birthday, Cardi revealed at another X Spaces that they were both waving the white flag.

"We've been quiet for over a week, so we like the energy," she revealed.

"We're not going. We don't really talk," she later admitted, "so I think we're getting to the point (where) we're really healthy co-parenting."

The former couple even went public with their temporary peace deal in Miami, where the two celebrated Offset's birthday together. Cardi admitted that the calmness between them made her "really happy."

"The past three months have been drama, fighting, it's been crazy," she said.

"But this week it's been, like, eight days of no drama, no bullshit," Cardi continued, "it's getting to the point (where) everybody's going hi."

Showing emotional clarity, Cardi opened up earlier this year about how she and Offset have equal issues in their marriage.

"The answer to the reunion is not a good night at the club and a fucking night," she admitted after they spent New Year's Eve together.

“We have to work on our shit. We need to work on our communication," she continued. "There are things he has to work on, there are things I have to work on."

However, she admitted that despite the problems, they still hold each other in the highest regard.

"It's not even about love," Cardi explained.

“We are best friends. And it's like, 'OK. Well, there was a time when I didn't have a best friend, or I didn't have a support system.' It's not even about 'How do you leave your partner?' How do you stop talking to your best friend?”

Regardless of how things end between them, Cardi B and Offset know that the most important factor is the happiness of their three children: 6-year-old Kulture, 3-year-old Wave, and a third girl born in September.

"We take great care of our children," she said on Instagram Live later that month.

"If you're a boy, my little father will beat the hell out of you, you're a woman, me and (my sister) Hennessy will beat the hell out of you," she threatened, "for playing with my fucking kids."
