On Thursday a French Court gave prison sentences to 51 defendants who were found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting Gisèle Pelicot. While Gisèle's ex-husband, Dominique Pelicot, was given the maximum sentence of 20 years, feminist groups outside the courts were disappointed that the prison terms for other men were shorter than those requested by the prosecution.
