Here's how Tory Lanez's Legal Team responded to Megan Thee Stallion's defamation allegations and request for a restraining order
Lanez's legal team reportedly spoke exclusively on Wednesday, December 18 TMZ. Additionally, Unite The People retracted Megan Thee Stallion's assertion that it paid internet bloggers to share defamatory statements about her. Instead, Lanez's legal team explained, "the payments had nothing to do with Lanez, and the truth will be revealed in court."
Additionally, McDowell also released a statement online. In the post, he also addressed his client's outgoing payments.
“Regarding the $3,000 Zelle transactions, we ask the public not to jump to conclusions. The legal process will not only address these issues, but will prove 100% that they have nothing to do with Mr. Daystar Peterson or his case," McDowell said in part.
Before it ended, McDowell appeared to throw some spicy shots at Megan Thee Stallion, giving the audience a history of "lying".

Regarding Megan Thee Stallion's defamation allegations and restraining order request against Tory Lanez
Ass Shadow Room previously announced, earlier this week, TMZ published an exclusive report confirming that Megan Thee Stallion had filed for a restraining order against Lanez. He also confirmed that he suffered "several months of abuse" from the jailed rapper.
"Despite being sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Mrs. Pete, Mr. Peterson continues to experience repeated trauma and re-examination," his filing stated. Sixth page.
More specifically, Megan accused Lanez of using blogger Elizabeth Milagro Cooper and others to "spread defamatory statements about her."
According to the outlet, Megan would like Lanez to "stop contacting, harassing or intimidating her, either directly or through third parties." Furthermore, per Sixth pageA hearing on the restraining order request is scheduled for January 9, 2025.
