Benzino Talks With His GF In Viral Video
The viral clip shows Benzino on the floor of a house, screaming and in an extreme emotional state. In the clip, his alleged girlfriend records him saying: "I don't, okay?” and “stop”. At one point, Benzino gets up from the floor and sits in a corner, apparently still in tears. You can still hear the woman saying: "Give me the knife." Benzino also says "No," apparently holding a knife, and then continues to say it. "I'll let them know you're safe, I'll call them back." People in the video thought that Benzino was trying to harm himself because he had the knife close to his throat.
After the video went viral, Benzino took to Instagram to clear the air and clarify what happened in the clip. He assured everyone that he was "okay" and that the video was just a "rehearsal for a tube film."
"My girlfriend was helping me, we were doing a script reading and that was a rehearsal for a Tubi movie. That was a scene from a Tubi movie," explained the rapper.
Benzino also shut down the assault claims, saying he would never lay a hand on a woman. He also made it clear that he would never do anything to harm himself.
"I've never done that in my life. That's for cowards. And I certainly wouldn't do anything to hurt myself. So a shout out to all the people who were concerned. I'm fine,” he continued.
