YouTube: Partnership with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) helping celebrities, athletes, and content creators identify content that uses AI-generated lookalikes on the platform. The tool, which YouTube will begin testing early next year, will allow these professionals to request removal of AI-generated likenesses.
YouTube will first make the tool available to "leading celebrity talent, including award-winning actors and top athletes from the NBA and NFL." It will then make it available to “top YouTube creators, creative professionals, and other leading partners representing talent.”
Announcement, YouTube I started allowing creators and rights holders indicate whether they allow certain third-party AI companies to train models on their content.
The Google-owned company's latest moves suggest it is trying to become a reliable ally for creative professionals in the rise of productive artificial intelligence.
