Tyson Fury endured one of the toughest rounds of his career when Oleksandr Usyk shocked him in their first world heavyweight title fight.
In that ninth round, the referee thought Fury was only being held up by the ropes and gave him a count.
But rather than see that moment of serious danger as a cause for concern, former champion Fury has drawn confidence from it.
"He threw his best shots. He had 10 shots on goal, all on goal, never dropped me. So if he couldn't drop me when I was at Bambi's feet, God be with him this time, Fury said. Sky Sports.
"I think he took his best shots to get me out of there and he didn't."
He is confident that when they fight in Riyadh's event of the season this weekend, they will live on Sky Sports Box Officehe will turn the tables on Usyk.
"Hit me with your best shot, I returned it and smiled and he will feel the anger and the threat this time, I have a point to prove," Fury warned his rival.
He is convinced that in general the first fight was more punishing for the Ukrainian than for him.
"After the fight they said he had a broken bone in his face or a broken jaw. Something to do with that," he said.
"I didn't feel like I lost the fight then, I didn't feel like I lost the fight after watching it again. So it's subjective to people's opinions. Some people thought he won, some people thought I won.
"It was a close fight and that's what happens in close games I think. It could go either way."
The count Fury got in the ninth round though could have put the decision Usyk's way. Eliminating those mistakes, Fury insists, will swing the rematch in his favor.
"With that (count) towards the end of the fight, I suppose the refs must have seen that and capitalized a bit more than they would have if it didn't happen," he said.
"A little more focus if nothing. More laser focus and not so much clowning around. If I take two things to the game plan, then that would be a little more successful. There's no big boundaries here. They just gave him one point, (could have been) a split decision either way, draw, whatever.
"So there aren't massive things that we can easily change. But how about this? How about I took it 10-8 in the ninth round? It's no longer a draw or a one-point win, it's a clear victory.
"A little less cheating and a little more focus, laser focus and I should get the job done."
He hailed the technical excellence of both fighters in their first meeting, especially for the two heavyweights.
"I was jabbing him at one stage, bang, right uppercut, we've never seen a heavyweight, straight jab. It's good, I liked it," he said.
"Styles make different fights. As we've seen over the years with Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield, both fights they had were very close. And they're very similar. I expect it to be very similar, I expect it to be very similar to be a tough little fight.
"Even as a boxing fan I've seen it many times, it was swing and spin both ways and both fighters had success."
Now, he added: “I feel ready to rock and roll.
"I'll be ready to do business."
