NFL Universe Football Launches NFL Christmas Games on Netflix

NFL and Netflix fans can experience the holidays on Roblox through winter-themed football events. NFL Universe Football and the NextworldInspired by NFL Christmas games streaming live on Netflix.

In celebration of these NFL matchups, users can participate in special football-themed challenges in both experiences and unlock one of four exclusive content rewards themed around the teams playing on Christmas Day: Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans.

NFL Universe Football kicks off its holiday event on December 17th, offering players the chance to team up with friends and find exclusive Christmas and NFL cosmetics, crafts, Scavenger Hunts and more.

Nextworld, Netflix's Roblox platform, will launch an exclusive NFL-branded mini-game on December 19 with NFL-branded UGC items that users can earn through the game. This partnership promotes cross-experiential engagement.

"Experiences inspired by NFL Christmas games on Netflix give users a fun and easy way to bring the magic of games to the Roblox platform," said Ed Kiang, NFL vice president of video games. "From Nextworld to NFL Universe Football, fans can enjoy Netflix Christmas Day in new and exciting ways."

"Our vision for NFL Universe Football has always been to create a dynamic experience where fans can engage with their favorite sport year-round," said Harry Bienstock, Voldex's Chief Growth Officer. “The +40% year-over-year increase in visits shows that players love what we're building. This winter, we're excited to connect with even more fans through holiday events and exclusive team rewards.”

Voldex bought the football game and brought the NFL brand. Back in April, Voldex has acquired Ultimate Football Millions of dollars on Roblox. Ultimate Football is one of Roblox's highest-grossing UGC games, and in April 2024, it had over 150 million views in six months. Then, in September, the NFL and Voldex announced that they would rebrand NFL World Football and bring the NFL brand to the game.
