Jamie Foxx shared the video with his fans on Instagram just days after he was attacked during a birthday dinner at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills. The beloved actor was attacked Friday night when a member of the "Jackass" production company threw a glass that hit Foxx in the mouth.

The 57-year-old actor needed stitches after the incident, and restaurant staff reportedly called the police to attend to the "Jackass" crew, as previously reported The Blast.

Foxx later posted several videos on Instagram, including the latest video showing the actor just before he took the stage to film his Netflix comedy special, "Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was...".

Foxx shared a video with his fans on Tuesday showing the actor getting ready to take the stage to perform his Netflix special, "Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was..."

The Instagram the post was titled: "The moment before Jamie Foxx took the stage. Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was... now only on Netflix." Foxx was also seen backstage as he said, "We made it, man. We're alive, yeah. We're here, man, just a few minutes ago, I wouldn't even, I couldn't walk like this."

"Nothing can ruin my day," he continued as the crew members cheered him on.

On April 11, 2023, Foxx suffered a brain hemorrhage that led to a stroke while in Atlanta on the set of his Netflix movie "Back to Action." The talented actor said during his comedy special that he had a bad headache and started asking a friend for aspirin when he passed out. He kept it details his EMS, until the comedy special went down.

Foxx also revealed that his sister was told by a doctor at a hospital in Piedmont, "If I don't get into his head, we're going to lose him." The "Ray" actor also noted that he woke up 20 days later unable to walk.

The comedian also shared that he was flown to Chicago for recovery at a treatment facility where he learned to walk again.

Jamie Foxx joked about Internet rumors during his recovery

The Internet has been abuzz with rumors during the former "In Living Color" star's recovery, and Foxx made light of the stories during his Netflix special. He joked that the city of Atlanta saved his life and the Internet "tried to kill him."

One rumor even claimed that the movie star had been cloned and that Foxx had passed away. While Foxx was out with his family during his recovery, they heard people speculating that he was a clone.

However, Foxx used humor to get him through the dark times and told himself, "If I can stay funny, I can stay alive."

He was also joking Sean "Diddy" Combs during the special, who is currently awaiting trial in New York for sex trafficking. "I saw a tunnel. I didn't see a light," he recalled, noting that I was warm. "I thought I saw the devil. Or was it Puffy?"

As previously reported by The Blast, Foxx was celebrating his birthday with family and friends in Beverly Hills on Friday night when he was involved in an altercation.

The actor was having dinner when "Jackass" cast members pointed a p-nis laser at the "Django" actor's table, which upset Foxx as he was with his two daughters, one of whom is a minor.

When Foxx went to confront the crew members, he allegedly said, "In front of my daughters?"

The comedian needed stitches after the altercation

One of the crew members allegedly threw a heavy glass at Foxx and hit him in the face. Damn Foxx reportedly replied, "It's my birthday. What's wrong with you?" After Foxx left, the crew allegedly got into an argument with other guests at Foxx's table, and staff eventually called the police.

It's unclear what prompted the "Jackass" crew to behave this way, but restaurant staff said the group sent Foxx a drink, which he accepted but didn't drink because he doesn't currently drink alcohol. He faced the crew after noticing them laughing before seeing an image of a laser pointer on the table.

TMJ reported that Foxx needed stitches after the altercation, but no arrests were made. The "Blame It" singer later posted a message on Instagram that read: "The devil is busy...But I'm too blessed to be stressed."
