In a striking testament to India's dynamic entrepreneurial climate, the recently launched Hurun India Top 200 Self-Made Entrepreneurs of the Millennium 2024 Edition, in collaboration with IDFC FIRST Private Banking, highlights the diverse age and innovation spectrum that defines the nation's business ecosystem. .
The list celebrates the achievements of nearly 400 founders across 200 companies, revealing an impressive age spectrum, with the youngest entrepreneur just 21 years old and the oldest at 81, spanning 60 years.
At the forefront of younger entrepreneurs is Kaivalya Vohra, the 21-year-old founder of Zepto, the fast food delivery service that has transformed Indian e-commerce. Founded in 2021, Zepto caters to the growing demand for fast and reliable food delivery, making it a household name in urban India. Vohra is joined by his 22-year-old co-founder Aadit Palicha, making Zepto a symbol of youth-driven innovation.
At the other end of the spectrum is Ashok Soota, 81, founder of Happiest Minds Technologies, which he founded in 2011 after serving as executive chairman of Mindtree. Happiest Minds focuses on digital transformation services, and Soota's leadership continues to inspire that age is no barrier to entrepreneurial success.
