Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner is confident that goals will come to Eddie Nkitia ahead of his return to the Emirates Stadium against Crystal Palace tomorrow night.
English striker Nketiah came through Arsenal's academy and spent seven years at the club before moving from north to south London in the summer for £25m.
He found it tough at Selhurst Park but scored just once in 13 games.
Nkitiah impressed in Sunday's 3-1 win over Brighton after coming on as a second-half substitute and Glasner hopes he can make his Palace debut.
He said: “He is very ambitious and hard working. Thrown back by injuries, the team started winning games and playing better and better during the injury season.
"He had a good impact at Brighton with Daichi Kamada because we struggled at the start of the second half, we didn't have any pressure on the ball. They worked really hard as soon as they came on and we controlled the game more.
“He got an assist for (Ismaila) Sarr and had a great chance himself.
"You can see that maybe he doesn't have a lot of confidence and when you're a striker that's normal because he wants to score goals. My experience is that if a player works as hard as he is working, he will get the reward.
It will be a great story if he scores at the Emirates.

Nketias will play a role tomorrow
Glasner said he did not know who would play and who would start, although he would not commit to starting Nktiaan in tomorrow's EFL Cup quarter-final. We have two or three decisions. We don't know if Ibis can play and he's a bit tired with one or two players - we still have time to decide. I'm sure Eddie will get minutes in the old stadium.
Palace have overcome a slow start to the season and are on a five-game losing streak.
The Eagles are full of confidence but Glasner's move to Arsenal was always going to be a difficult task.
"We still have a lot of games to play, but winning at the Emirates is a big achievement for all of us," he said.
"Crystal Palace is not a place that wins every year, so it's a big achievement.
"The 90 minutes will be tough and tough but we have confidence, we feel ready, we are in good shape and we are in a good mood in the dressing room.
"We have everything we need before the game, but the important thing is to show tomorrow at home."
Palace are certainly without Adam Wharton, while Daniel Munoz is suspended.
