5.30 Newcastle - Course specialist Jkr Cobbler chases hat-trick
Ian Jardine trained Jkr Shoe had fallen short of his last win mark and has won twice since, winning both times at his beloved Newcastle. He's back there in the hunt for a hat-trick but has been pushed back 3lb for his win last time out. Warren Fentiman lifts a 7kg weight and that will get him close.
Rebecca's daughter has been consistent in her last two starts when she won and finished second in the other. The Gary Rutherford-coached footballers have Jason Hart on board once again and he goes well with him. Pallas God showed hints of a revival last time out over course and distance and is on his last winning run. Middleham Park have been the victims of several narrow defeats The King's School as he has been so unlucky in his last four runs. Beaten by just under a length in all four starts, he has been extremely unlucky and lined up again under Kaiya Fraser in an attempt to break the maiden mark.
Beautiful girl has dropped to an interesting point and is now £5 below his estimate when winning over five furlongs at Beverley. Faye McManoman travels and may be one at a higher price to do well.
