Lazio suffered their worst home defeat as champions Inter Milan thrashed 6-0 in Rome.
Lazio started the night with a point against Inter and sit top of the Europa League table, but Simone Inzaghi's side had no response to their impressive attacking display.
They are unbeaten in 12 home games and haven't lost in front of their home fans since March.
Hakan Calhanoglu gave Inter the lead in the 41st minute after a free kick was awarded for handball, and Federico DiMarco scored with a volley before the break.
Niccolo Barella headed home to make it 3-0 six minutes after the restart, Denzel Dumfries netted two minutes later and Carlos Augusto and Marcus Thuram rounded off the lead late on.
Inter are in third place with 34 points from 15 games, trailing leaders Atalanta by three points with one game remaining.
Lazio's previous record defeat was a 5-0 loss to Fiorentina in 1959.
Their three biggest Serie A defeats have all come against Internacional; This defeat was followed by 8-1 (in 1934) and 7-0 (in 1961) defeats by Milan.
