Deeney was full of thanks to Man Utd youngster Amad after the late winner against City, he said: "It's been difficult to pick the forwards this week, but Amad Diallo is the only one who doesn't have a clue. He was so good, he nailed the Manchester derby. As a youngster he just seems to be developing.
"All the noise around Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford, Diallo seems to be going about his business and delivering regularly, and that's how it is."
Deeney has also singled out Newcastle United captain Alexander Isak to further highlight his qualities, making it clear that he sees the Sweden international as a good signing for Arsenal.
He said: "The best striker in the Premier League at the moment. Yes I have said it and yes I stand by it. He is the complete striker. Wrong. Every time I look at him I think, How come Arsenal didn't sign him?
"He is a very good player and a finisher. He is a killer but also a silky player. You don't see poachers poaching."
