When will the Arne slot be blocked?
Southampton's slot was suspended as part of a one-match ban following Liverpool's 2-2 draw at home to Fulham.
The Carabao Cup champions will hope to return to the semi-finals if they beat Tottenham 5-0 in the Premier League on Sunday.
It means Slad will be in the side once again when Liverpool travel to Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday (4.30pm).
A Carabao Cup tie will go straight to penalty kicks and extra time will only be used in the semi-finals and final.
Liverpool beat two Premier League teams to reach the quarter-finals, beating visitors West Ham 5-1 and beating Brighton & Hove Albion 3-2.

Why is Arne's slot blocked?
"There were a few moments where I could have been booked," admitted Curtis Jones after being booked for his reaction to being cautioned for a 57th-minute challenge on Alex Iwobi at Anfield.
Liverpool lost left-back Andy Roberto to a straight red card after 17 minutes and twice came from behind to salvage a point.
"The game is emotional and we were human," he added. “It's disappointing. It's good to see our performance after so many setbacks."
Stoke received three yellow cards in a 2-1 win over Chelsea on 20 October and a 2-2 draw with Arsenal on 27 October.
