Turki Alalshikh is interested in former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury "do the job" against Oleksander Usyk in their match this Saturday, December 21st. He wants to set up a three-way match between the two of them in 2025. If he doesn't go easy on Fury on purpose, it won't look good for him.
Turki needs to see things in terms of style. Fury doesn't "do the job" because Usyk is too good for him. He seemed to be angry live on a slippery slope on the road since his loss to Oleksandr on May 18. He looks like hell with that beard and his body looks like a single man. What has Fury been up to for the last seven months?
That defeat accelerated his aging until, aside from controversial points, he had no chance of winning.
You can't blame Turki for wanting Fury to avenge his loss because it would jeopardize a third showdown between them and ruin interest in an all-British fight against Anthony Joshua. There will be no excitement in that fight if Fury is crawling into the fight on the back of two losses, Joshua's fifth round knockout of Daniel Dubois on September 21st.
The Triple Aim
Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) says he won't give up on that because he will beat the 'Gypsy King' (34-1-1, 24 KOs) one more time.
The 36-year-old Fury is now sporting a beard and looks like he's aiming to copy light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev's look. The problem is, Beterbiev doesn't have the power or the anger, and he doesn't have his chin.
Turki is backing the wrong horse, insisting that Fury win this fight because he doesn't have the talent. Turki should use either Martin Bakole or Daniel Dubois as Usyk's opponent in the December 21 fight.
Rabbit In The Pot
Turki Alalshikh: “You are ready. You have one rabbit,” Turki tells Fury YouTube channel.
Anger: “One rabbit gets up. One cooked rabbit.
Turki: “One rabbit in the kitchen. It's a place."
Anger: “One rabbit in the pot. My camp is over.”
Turki to Usyk: "We are ready for you. There is room in our basket for one more rabbit.
Usyk: "I'll see you on December 21."
Turki: “You are destroying my map. I want a third fight (anger vs. Usyk). I want to say three things. I want a third fight.”
Anger: “I beat him at 21, the third fight is 100%. There should be a trilogy.”
Turki: "Yes."
Anger: "I'm really scared, you nasty little guy (Usyk)."
Turki: "Please, Tyson, done."
Anger: "I will come back because we need that third one in Saudi."
Usyk: "I will win again."
Anger: “No. You will be lost again.”
Turki: “He made a lot of mistakes in the first fight. Now, he knows his mistakes in his corner. Now, it's going to be difficult. No more dancing.”
Anger: "No dancing."
Usyk: “My dance. I don't rest. After I finished my fight, I went back to my gym. I'm training all the time.”
Anger: “I can't wait. My appointment is December 21st. The belts are coming home and it's going to be a triple set, a triple set in 2025."
Usyk: “Ha-ha-ha. Good, boy.”
Turki: “Let's see. Don't do that at home in the sixth round, Tyson. Once you receive it, complete it.
Angry: "Yes."
Turki: “Don't dance. You're on the cover of Ring Magazine.”
Anger: "Beautiful."
Turki” “This is another great post to give away. Tyson, you owe me. Submit the work.”
Anger: "I'll give you the job."
