11 Irish recipe you can make for St. Patrick's Day

I have some Irish heritage on my mother's side – “O” in my line is O'niell, the maiden name – and I have a soft spot on St. Patrick's Day and Irish culture in general. The holiday is a great excuse for a jar to write and eat some of my favorite Irish dishes, including Combannon and Soda bread, and this is also a fun excuse for some Ireland inspired work, such as Shamrock Shakes and Guinness-Chocolate Cake. This year, I will follow my usual tradition and cook my St. Patrick's Day at home – because in hell I do not go into drunken Hoards that pack the New York pubs where I live.
