There is no summer meal that cannot be well improved along the heap of grilled vegetables! This grilled veg takes very little preparation and they are the best options on the fridge cleaning out day (which makes my busy life easier and saves my money!). I have finished grilling all kinds of vegetables, including pepper, onion, zucchini, squash and mushrooms for the last summer banquet. Simple recipes for grilled vegetables

Vegetable grilling is practiced for perfection, but in this simple and quick way I promise that you never give you another intimidating vegetable again. The mystery? Less more! Get the grill nice and hot to achieve the points of that amazing grill. Bell pepper, tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms and yellow squash quickly, so they need a few minutes on each side. Onions take a little longer to get the caramel edge that we all love, so they first move on.

Any remaining salad, pasta salad, sandwiches and more can be added. I could go all day about the virtue of grilled vegetables, but I will save you and let my simple recipe talk!


Grilled vegetables

Just a few ingredients and in my easy grilling method, these grilled vegetables are the perfect side dish for any summer BBQ!Step-by-step photos can be seen below the recipe card.

  • 1 zucchini ($ 1.02)
  • 1 Red onion ($ 0.99)
  • 8 Mushroom ($ 1.04*)
  • 1 Yellow squash ($ 1.10)
  • 8 Mini bell pepper (Or cut into 2 large bell pepper ¼ s, $ 1.44)
  • 6-8 Cherry tomato (On the whole vine, $ 1.66 **)
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Olive oil ($ 0.33)
  • 1 Garlic clove (Grated, $ 0.04)
  • 1 Tsp Steak spice (Divided, $ 0.12)
  • ½ Tsp Sugar ($ 0.01 ***)

  • Using a thick setting or a knife, slices in the direction of about 3 inch thick slices in length. Red onion thick rings, cut into destination mushrooms, and cut the yellow squash into a thick disc, about 3 inches thick. Rinse the bell pepper and cherry tomatoes.

  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, grated garlic, ½ tsp steak seasoning and sugar.

  • Brush the mixture of olive oil on the veg.

  • When preheating at 400 degrees, add onions to the grill. Until you get a different grill score, add all the other veg to the grill and 4 minutes to the grill.

  • Flip and grill until an additional 3-4 minutes or until vegetarianism is to your liking. I still like my grilled vegetables to bite them a little, so I'm careful not to get them too much! Onions can cook a little more and can be nice and sweet when they cook a little (and also help the grill to taste for other vegs!)

  • Sprinkle on the remaining ½ tsp steak seasoning and serve with us (alternative) Chimichuri.

*You can replace any mushrooms for Bella mushrooms. When grilling is considered, the mushrooms forgive and all of them have a wonderful taste, which doesn't matter!

Prepare vegetables: Rinse all your vegetarian under cold water except onion. Let them dry before breaking.

Vegetables: Cover all sides and brush the olive oil marinade on your veg.

Grill the onions first: Add chopped onion rings to your grill as preheators up to 400 ° F.

The cheapest grill option I found was a simple and small camping coal grill. If you want to grill out, this is a great option, it is not a smoker's taste and the coal is not in hand.
