- 2 Tbsp Vegetable oil ($ 0.17)
- 8 Burden Cooked Vermesilee noodles ($ 2.87)
- 1 Medium onion, small leaf (about 1 cup, 150 g) ($ 0.76)
- 2 Clove Garlic, grated (about 1 tbsp) ($ 0.12)
- 1 Tsp Cumin ($ 0.09)
- 28 ounces Can do Whole peeled tomatoes ($ 1.48)
- 6 Cup Chicken broth* (48 oz) ($ 0.71)
- 1 Medium Jalapeno, the whole (optional) ($ 0.16)
- 1 Large lime, juice (about 2 tbsp juice) ($ 0.25)
- 1/4 Bunch Fresh cilantro (optional) ($ 0.21)
-
Add vegetable oil to a large soup pot. Cut the vermicelli noodles in one to two inches in sections and then add it to the pot. Cook dry noodles in oil on medium heat until it is constantly stirring for 3-5 minutes or until the noodles are golden brown. You may need to brown the noodles in the batch.
-
Add dairy onion, grated garlic and cumin in a pot with noodles and cook for a few minutes and stir, or until the onions are soft.
-
To stop the brown of the noodles, add a little juice to the pot from the tomato can. Use a blender or immersion blender with canned tomatoes and remaining juices. Add pure tomatoes to a pot with noodles with six cups of chicken broth.
-
If the jalepano is used in pepper, add it to the pot (this will give it a little jalapeno taste without much heat). Place a lid on the pot, turn the heat to the medium high and let it boil. Boil the pot for about 15 minutes or until the noodles are soft. If the noodles are absorbing too much liquid, if you want to add more tomato sauce or broth.
-
Before serving, add limestone juice and approximately chopped cilantro in a prepared soup. Slice the jalepano openly and use it as a garnish while serving.

*I use Better than a boilon soup base To make my broth because it is less expensive for the canned broth and I can mix any amount I need. Small jars are just sitting in my fridge, prepared when I need the broth. (1 tsp chicken base + 1 cup of water = a cup of broth).

How to make a simple de fidio step-by-step photos

Collect all your ingredients.

Toast the noodles: Add two tablespoons of vegetable oil to a large soup pot. 1/2 lb of vermicelli noodles in one to two inch sections. (8 ounces.) Break. Put them in a pot and cook for a few minutes until medium heat is stirring or noodles until golden brown. Target almost half the noodles to brown because in the next step they can become a little more brown. You may need toast your noodles in the batch.

Add onion and seasonings to: Once the noodles look brown and a little, add 1 dyed onion, 2 cloves grated garlic and 1 tsp cumin seeds. Continue to cook for a few minutes when the onions are softened (the cumin will also toast a little in the process). The moisture released from the onion should reduce the brownish brownies of the noodles and prevent them from going too far.

Insert some of the tomatoes: Add a little juice from a 28-ounce. To prevent browning from browning, the whole tomatoes can be done in a soup pot with noodles.

Mix tomatoes: Next, it's time to finish the canned tomatoes. Why use the whole tomato if you just give them a puree? There is a rumor (this means where I have heard of where I heard it) good tomatoes are used for “whole” can tomatoes, while poor quality tomatoes are used for Pakistan or crushed tomatoes. I do not know whether it is true or not, but we will go with this today. Anyway… Add the canned tomatoes and the remaining juice in the blender.

Mix until the tomatoes are purified. I just left my only slight.

Cook the soup: Add pure tomatoes, 6 cups of chicken broth and whole jalapeno in the pot. Why wholeheartedly? It pours the soup with a little jalepano taste without much heat. (But take it with salt grains. Each pepper has its own heat, so I cannot guarantee that it will not be spicy with this method.)
Now, place a lid on the soup, turn the heat on the medium-high and boil it. Boil the soup for about 15 minutes or without cooking pasta.

Decoration: Once the noodles are cooked, it is time to add the final touch. Squeeze the lime juice from 1 large lime and 1/4 bouquet approximately chopped cilantro (you can use less -more to taste).

Service: Stir and serve them. The higher the soup, the more the noodles absorb the broth and fill the pot. You can also squeeze the jalepano and serve on top as a garnish (alternative). Yes.

Jazy it up!
If you want to make this soup a little heart, you can do some pieces Grilled chicken Or store-saved rotisory chicken. If you want to have fun with toppings, try some parts of Avocado, Red onionSome crisp quiz fresco, or even some Air Fryer Tortilla Chips?? I added a doll Sour cream My, but without any toppings, it is equally delicious. Word.
Storage and rehatiting
Put your homemade simple de fidio in airtight containers in the fridge for 3-4 days. The noodles will be soft when the broth is soaked, but I still love it either. If you prefer the supper consistency while heating, just add a splash of chicken broth or water to loose things. You can heat this soup in a microwave or on a stovetop.
