Simple recipes for creamy coleslala
Super simple dressing for my creamy coleslav has been made with some pantry staples, including a little dijon mustard for the tang and a dub for sweetness. Then the dressing is just thrown with chopped cabbage, carrot and sliced green onions and you finished! This creamy crispy paradise is ready to push it on sandwiches or taco, wrapped or enjoyed like.
I rarely need a ton of sloches at the same time, so I made this recipe “small batch”. Once it is done, there are about two cups, or about four sandwiches are enough. (Or two sandwiches and four mouths, lol).
I used pre-scored bags for this recipe “Colecla Mix” (sports cabbage and carrot) because I think this is a costly one of the use of pre-clopped vegetables. And then you do not leave half the cabbage in your fridge, surprise what to do with it. Because no matter how small the cabbage is, it seems to always be high.
But, if you have half of the cabbage and if you want to make it, you need to cut about 3 cups of finely chopped cabbage and about a medium carrot.
Easy Creamy Colecles


Dressing
- 1/3 Cup Mayonnaise ($ 0.55)
- 1/2 Tbsp Honey ($ 0.06)
- 1 Tsp Digon mustard ($ 0.03)
- 1 Tsp Red wine vinegar (Or Apple Pal Cider Vinegar, $ 0.02)
- 1/4 Tsp Salt ($ 0.02)
- Black pepper (Fresh crack, $ 0.03)
Bucket
- 1/2 14 ounces. Bag Colesla mix (Cabbage and carrot cut into pieces, $ 2.18*)
- 3 Green onions ($ 0.30)

In a small bowl, combine the ingredients for dressing (mayonnaise, honey, dish, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper).

Green onions slices. In a large bowl with green onions, add the colaus mix (chopped cabbage and carrot), then add on the dressing. Stir well until the cabbage dressing is evenly coated. Serve immediately.

How to make a classic creamy cooless step-by-step photos


Collect all your ingredients.


Dressing: In a small bowl, 1/3 cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp dingean mustard, 1 tsp red wine vinegar, 1/4 tsp salt and some fresh crack pepper (pepper mill).

Storage instructions
One of the part of making cabbage is so crisp. Over time, the salt in the dressing pulls out of the cabbage, the water at the bottom of your bowl and your cabbage is slightly crisp. The only way to prevent this from happening is to store your dressing separately from the vegetables cut. So, if you do not plan to eat the whole batch right away, make sure you just add dressing to the part you plan to eat.
However, if you do not miss a thin dressing, you can put this homemade colela in the airtight container for 3 days.
