Tastely tested 16 brands of ice cream, which is probably found at the local grocery store: 11 brands of classic chocolate wafer ice cream sandwiches and five brands of ice cream cookies. In order to find the best of each category, we tasted each one without knowing which brand it was. Our winners are Crav'n and Trader Joe's.
I make it to myself every summer. This often involves things such as the sweet, juicy peaches above the sink, fat and perfectly sliced mature tomatoand quickly inhale an ice cream sandwich before melting under the hot sun. While I love ice cream in any form, there is something particularly attractive and nostalgic in the vanilla ice cream that is between two chocolate sauce growth, all of which are nicely wrapped in foil or parchment. The question is, which ice cream sandwiches are worth buying?
To find the best ice cream jokes, our editors have been tested for 16 different brands, which are probably found at the local grocery store. We picked up 11 brands of classic chocolate -ostya ice cream sandwich and five branded ice cream cookies. We tasted them in random order without knowing which one was, and the classic sandwiches and cookie sandwiches were recorded in separate items to avoid comparing the apples and orange.
The results were tabulated and crowned with a comprehensive winner in each category, and with many other worthy riders that we can enjoy at home in the freezer.
The criteria
The classic ice cream sandwich should consist of a jewelry, luxurious creamy vanilla ice cream between solid but wet chocolate. Ice cream must be balanced; It should not be moody sweet and not so frothy that you feel like eating air. The wafers must be pleasantly bitter with the rich notes of the cocoa, and although they must be strong enough to coat the ice cream, they should not be fragile or dry – they should be essential, but they still do not dig the ice cream when you bite.

Our team could not agree that the trader Joe Sublime Ice Cream sandwiches are too sweet or the right amount of sweets. Megan and Kelli both thought they were too sweet, but Lila and I found it not to be harassed. “A nice bite to be honest,” Amanda said. Our tasters liked that Vanilla's aroma was not too artificial, though Daniel wrote, “not a whole craftsman”. While I thought the cookie could have been chewing, the ice cream was far from the best of all the tasted sandwiches.

All ice cream sandwiches from which we took a sample were wrapped on the edge with emulsifiers, stabilizers, and artificial and natural flavors. Our winner, Crav'n Ice Cream Sandwiches, was one of the four classic chocolate wafer ice cream sandwich, which contained a more complex dairy product that many other riders missed. Both of the most important selection of ice cream cookies contained “naturally flavored” ice cream, and although they were stabilizers in the form of guargumi and locusts in the form of rubber, none contained mono and diglycerides, the general stabilizer in processed foods.
It is important to note that our tasters had clear and concrete preferences: some editors would prefer a more solid cookie and others would have preferred softer cookies. Some editors were rejected by artificial vanilla, while others found it wonderfully nostalgic. Finally, most of us would be happy to have such an ice cream sandwich, especially on a hot summer day.
Our testing methodology
All flavors are completely hidden and do without discussion. Tasters taste the samples in random order. For example, tasting may first taste the sample, while the B tasting will first taste the six samples. The purpose of this is to prevent the fatigue of the palate unfairly securing one pattern. The tasters are asked to fill the tasters and the samples are ranked according to various criteria. All data are tabled and the results are calculated without an editorial input to depict the actual results as little as possible.
