How to dry pasta | King Arthur Baking


As great as it would be to eat freshly made pasta for dinner every night, it's not always time to boost out the Pasta car Or Rolling Pin When busy schedules get in the way. But if you dry your pasta, it's money in the bank: homemade macaroni for dinner, with little effort (and even less time). If you are dedicating a slow Sunday to make batches of fresh pasta, you can cook some that night and save the rest to eat over the last month or so.

Why dry pasta?

You can extend the life of your recent pasta drying it, you should not expect your homemade dried pasta pasta to be just like shop-could drack pasta (which requires a much more more work-intensive process).

How do I dry homemade pasta?

Once you have your drying station put yourself, simply hang your freshly made pasta or set it on a tray to dry. Ideally, you should dry pasta overnight or up to 24 hours. And close attention to your kitchen conditions of your kitchen: if it is damp, it may be best to just cook your pasta recent because it does not completely dry.
