Homemade Pop Tarts – Budget Byte


Worse things do not scream than the pop tart. In fact, this is a change of breakfast of breakfast, but I am here for it. These simple homemade pop tarts are free from all those mysterious, hard-to-pronons ingredients (and not high fructose corn syrup!) And perhaps use the pantry staples you already have!   • ¼ Cup Brown Marg ($ 0.13)

  • 1 Package of pre-made pie crusts ** ($ 2.77)
  • 1 Beating (Optional)*** ($ 0.49)

Cinnamon Frosting:

  • 1 Cup Powder ($ 0.55)
  • 2 Tbsp Heavy cream ($ 0.20)
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon ($ 0.08)

Berry Frosting:

  • Remains of juice from the jam-filling process ($ 0.00)
  • 2 Tbsp Heavy cream ($ 0.20)
  • 1 Cup Powder ($ 0.55)
  • ½ Tbsp Spine ($ 0.18)

  • Combine the component and preheat oven at 400 घटक.

  • Once it is completely cooled, frost each pop generously. Top berry tarts with sprinkles. Before serving, decorate the berry tarts with sprinkles. Enjoy!

Storage and rehatiting

You can keep the insecure homemade pop tarts covered at room temperature for 2 days. If your kitchen is warm or you are storing frostped pie, it is best to put them in an air-way container in the fridge for 3-4 days. You can freeze them for 2-3 months. I recommend freezing them for excellent results because frosting melts can become a little sticky or runny. Let them melt in the fridge, then heat the toaster oven, the air fryer, the oven at 350 ° F or if desired.
