Recipe variation

I went with the classic brown sugar-glazed carrots for this recipe, but you can definitely change things based on what you have in your paint or spice drawer and experiment with flavors. Here are some suggestions:

  • Tasty carrot: If you are looking for more tasty carrots, skip brown sugar and cinnamon and season with just salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • Sweet and tangle: If you really want to switch things, try us Carrot roasted with honey balleric glaze! They are sweet, chilli and rich at the same time.
  • Fresh herbs: Before serving, adding fresh herbs such as parsley, thyme or dill, adds color and more taste in the dish.
  • Honey or maple syrup: Brown Sugar is cheap and budget-friendly, but free heart with sugar honey or maple syrup. Both taste equally delicious!

What to serve with glazed carrots

These glazed carrots are extremely versatile and can be enjoyed with any dinner. I like to serve them with me Baked chicken breast And a scoop of mashed potatoes for a rounded meal. They also have excellent taste like other dishes MellofPan-clayed pork chops, or Glazed ham stakes?? If you make them for a holiday, try to attach them to them Baked ham For Easter or for me Juicy roasted turkey breasts For Christmas or Thanksgiving!

Prepare a meal!

These glazed carrots are a great make-forward option. If you are thinking of re -heating them later, I recommend cooking until the carrot is almost tender. This prevents them from being softening when you back up them. They heat it in the microwave or on the stovetop, so choose what works well for you. These carrots are an easy way to look extra with your Easter table (or Tuesday's dinner!) At least with the minimal effort. They will be kept in the fridge for 3-4 days, but for the best texture and taste, I would love to use it in a day or two.
