How to make garlic noodles step-by-step photos

Make a sauce: In a small bowl, stir 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tbsp toasty sesame oil. Stir until combined.

Cook pasta: Bring a large water pot to boil and cook 8 oz. Angel Hair pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Preparation of aromatics: When cooking pasta, slice 4 cloves of garlic and about 4 green onions (1/2 bouquet).

Sot Aeromatics: Heat 4 tbsp butter in large skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add grated garlic and most chopped green onions (save some for ornament). Sot the garlic and green onions until soft and aromatic (1-2 minutes).

Add noodles and sauces: Remove the skillet from the heat, then cooked and add the drainage pasta and prepared sauce. If necessary, you can add a small amount of hot water to the pasta to loose it.

Service: Toss the ingredients in the skillet until the pasta sauce is evenly coated. Decorate and serve with reserved green onions.

- Don't burn garlic! I cook grated garlic on the middle lower part of the medium lower part until I aromatic, which only takes 1-2 minutes. Avoid cooking for longer because the burned garlic becomes bitter fast.
- Salo the noodles. If they look a little sticky, I sprinkle the noodles with a little hot water (reserved pasta water will also work here) to loose them.
- Adjust in the taste. You can completely tweak the balance of sweet, salty and umi flavors to make you even right for you. Some readers love to use half of the brown sugar listed in the recipe card, while I think this is the perfect amount. Before adding to the pasta, you can always taste the sauce and adjust it as needed.
What else can I add?
This is a great base recipe in which you can add all kinds of other ingredients! I love these garlic noodles as side dishes, but you can add proteins and vegetables to make it a meal. Here are some alternative extras that you would like:
Storage and rehatiting
These garlic noodles are the key to me Weekly dining preparation?? I just pack them in a personal airtight container and put them in my fridge for 3-4 days. For heating, I pop in the microwave I do to get so hot. Noodles soak some sauce during storage, but I don't mind it too much. The noodles can be dry so I will not recommend freezing.
