Easy sesame chicken recipe
If you are unfamiliar with this Chinese-American fast food classic, the sesame chicken is a small piece of soft chicken that is coated in eggs and cornstarch, deep-fried until crisp, and then coated in a delicious sweet, salty and tangy sauce. Thanks to sesame seeds in the sauce, a light but toast taste.
However, I have written this recipe for you, especially for the people there who hate deep frying like me. My recipe uses very little oil to cook chickens, and for that reason, you do not get the super crisp edges because of the deep frying… but in my opinion it is good to close the trade. There is no remaining oil to deal with, the smell of cooking oil does not fill your house and does not try to kill you. The crisp edge is like sacrificing (and it's just as delicious!) 😉

How to make sesame chicken step-by-step photos

Collect all your ingredients.

Prepare the sauce: First make the sauce, so you are ready to go when you need it. In one bowl, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp water, 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil, 3 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tbsp fresh ginger, 2 grated cloves of garlic, 1 TBSP cornstarch and 1 TBSP.

Let's just talk for the second of this toasted sesame oil. In your sesame chicken, you need to get the tortoic type to get the Super Vibrant Natti taste you want. All brands do not actually say “toasted” on the bottle, but you can identify the toasty variety with its deep brown color. Regular sesame oil will be the color of the straw like vegetable oil. You want brown content. इतर This is usually in the international food space rather than baking space with other oils.

Cut the chickens: Next, trim any extra fat of the skin of the skin, without a pound of bone, then cut them into small pieces of small cubes. There was about three chicken thighs for me.

Mix cornstarch: In a medium bowl, add 1 large eggs, 2 tbsp cornstarch and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Coat of chickens: Squeeze the eggs and cornstarch together until light and frosty. It may seem thick at first, but dissolving the cornstarch egg will make it thinner and will be nice and frothy. Insert the cubid chicken thighs and stir them to coat the eggs.
This combination of cornstarch and egg coats the chicken, providing something to catch the sauce by placing it soft. This technique of coating meat in the cornstarch mix is called “velvet”.

Cook the chicken: Add 2 tbsp cooking oil to large skillet and heat the medium. Wait until too hot. This is very important. Skillat needs to be very hot! Once very hot, rotate the skelets to apply oil coats on the entire surface, add the chicken, and make sure it is spread in a layer. Cook the chicken until the bottom is golden brown. It may be cooking in a single round pancake, but don't worry, we will break the next pieces.

Then, as you flip, carefully flip the chicken pieces, cut into small pieces. Cook on the other side until brown and cooked. Be sure not to move them too much, or you can come to the egg chickens. As you can see, some chickens are still stuck together at this stage. That's fine. Just stir.

Insert the sauce and serve: Finally, add the prepared sauce and stir in the coat. Carefully stir the chicken as soon as the sauce starts to boil and start to thicken. Once it is thicker, turn off the heat.
Sprinkle some chopped green onions on top and serve with warm gunning rice. This is not better than this. Easy sesame chicken… and no delivery fee in about 30 minutes! 😁
