Everyone eats. Tell me! Each. The body. Eat. The thing I love about cooking is that I can bring a little joy to me and find a normal field with anyone, no matter what their background is, how much money or their opinions are in their bank account. Everyone eats and cooks with others (and for it) is a great way to create and connect the pool. This super hearted, budget-friendly stone soup is extra special, as the story behind it really reflects my long-term faith.

Easy stone soup recipe
This recipe is more than just chicken and vegetable soup! It is based on classic folklore 'Stone'Found in many cultures around the world, including versions of this story. The story is that hungry passengers come to a village with nothing but empty pots. The villagers who are tired of the passengers claim that they have no food to share them. So, the passengers were on fire and the pot was filled with water. When asked, they made it clear that they were making 'stone soup', claiming that they are delicious but better with some additional ingredients. Curiosity villagers everyone contributes to their own ingredients, and the pots turn to rich, nutritious meals for all. When we come together and show everyone a little contribution, we can really create something special!

** I went Chicken drumstick Because they are budget-friendly and cook this soup perfectly. Bone-in chicken thighs Will work but it is longer to cook (Internal temperature should reach 165℉ Before serving!))
***In this recipe, Yukon Gold Potatoes also hold well. Rastets In this soup a loose mash potato will dissolve and create the consistency, But if you are with that texture, they will also work!
****We want to use Baulon to keep our broth low. We prefer Better than a boilon brand. When you are choosing a boilon in the store, make sure the first one is not salt or you are just spending a lot of money on more expensive salt!

How to make a stone soup step-by-step photos

Collect all your ingredients.

Wash the stone (optional): If you want to stick to the story and you want to add a stone to your soup, be sure to wash it, Very Good to remove any dirt. You can also use a small, whole potato instead of stone. Insert your stone/potato in the stock pot. I did not cook with stones individually, but I added something for the photos!
If you do not want to add stones to your soup, but still want to refer to the story, you can use the stone instead of a table decoration.

Carrot, onion and vegetable or salad: Add 1 tbsp olive oil to your stock pot on medium heat and add 1 chopped onion, 4 peeled and chopped carrots and 3 stalks chopped vegetable or lettuce (known as peppermint) and stir to combine.

Now, add 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp ground pepper, 1 tsp dried thyme, 1 tbsp Italian spice and 2 pan and heat on medium heat until vegetarian.

Chicken brown: Push the sown vegetables aside and add 4 chicken drumsticks to make the bottom distance of the stock pot.

Make the chicken brown on all sides. We still do not plan to cook the chicken (this will happen when the soup grows), but the outer brown color will help to add the taste.

Boiling: Add 1 chopped zoo, chopped cabbage (a small head, about 4 cups), 4-5 large cooking potatoes and 3 cloves garlic in the stockpot. Add 6 cups of chicken broth on top and boil everything. Once boiled, reduce the heat to reduce the heat and cook for 1 hour, or without cooking the veg completely and the inner temperature of the chicken reaches 165 ° F.

The chickens were cut: Use a fork to pull the meat in the chicken bone soup. Throw bones or use them to store chickens (with your vegetable bark from this recipe!)

Service: Adjust the taste with salt and pepper. If you add a stone to your soup, don't forget to remove it before serving! Serve and enjoy.
